This forum will provide information for the operations and delivery of Next Generation Telecommunications Solutions. This free educational presentation is intended for Texas government staff interested in the operation and delivery of telecommunications solutions. (Pre-registration is required.)

The conference will also feature exhibits by DIR-contracted vendors offering products and services related to these topics. Attendees can visit the exhibit area and learn more about specific products and services that are available. Exhibits will be open throughout the day.
Attendee Registration and Logistics
Audience
This free event is open to any Texas government staff interested in the operation and delivery of telecommunications solutions. (Pre-registration is required.)

Big Tex Auditorium (the large auditorium), Commons Learning Center

Southwest corner of Burnet Road and Braker Lane, within the main complex of the J.J. Pickle Research Campus.
Parking
Enter at the Burnet Road gate and obtain a permit from the guard. Free parking is available in the lots on the north and west sides of the building. Overflow parking is in the two lots on the east side of the building. Vehicles not displaying permits may be ticketed.
Registration
Registration is open. (Also use this link for cancellations or to provide additional information.)
This event is free; however, pre-registration is required. Preprinted name badges will be prepared, so you may wish to notify DIR of attendee substitutions known in advance.
Note: Depending on the registration response, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees from each organization so that the maximum number of entities can participate.
Hotel Information
If you need hotel accommodations, DIR has arranged for a special group rate at the HYATT House Aboretum. See the attached flyer – PDF (995 KB). Deadline for booking this rate is June 11, 2012.
Refreshments
Complimentary morning and afternoon refreshments and a luncheon will be served.
Continuing Education
The event will provide 6.0 contact hours of general continuing education credit (6.0 CPEs for Texas IRMs).
